George Nelson's Cigar Lamp(1947) is one of the most popular lamps in the George Nelson Bubble Lamp collection and a Stardust Staff Pick. Part of the permanent collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art, these stylish modern cigar-shaped light fixtures have stood the test of time. They are constructed of a steel wire frame and covered with translucent plastic to emit a soft, even light. The George Nelson Cigar Bubble Lamp is a beloved icon of mid-century modern design and sets the right mood in any interior space. George Nelson designed the Bubble Lamp collection for Howard Miller in 1947, the Cigar Lamp is available in three sizes. Cigar Floor Lamp
